She consistently strives to create a safe, inclusive environment where students can explore, connect, and express themselves without judgment. She has conducted workshops focused on social-emotional learning at the Center for Educator Development in Fine Arts Summit and the Texas Dance Educators Convention. Additionally, she enjoys providing mental health workshops and leadership training to both dance students and teachers.
Sara will work with you to find the best approach to counseling that meets your needs. The modalities she uses include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Somatic Therapy, Attachment Therapy, Parts Work, and EMDR. She enjoys sharing the therapeutic benefits of dance and is certified in restorative and yin yoga. Sara aims to create a therapeutic relationship based on empathy and empowerment. She recognizes that taking the step to seek counseling can be uncomfortable, and she is ready to meet you where you are on your wellness journey.
